About

“Which of all my important nothings shall I tell you first?”

– Jane Austen

Indeed. The following facts about myself are in no particular order of importance (except maybe the first two):

  • Mom
  • Wife
  • Crochet Geek
  • WannaBe Runner
  • Book Enthusiast
  • Jane Austen Obssessor
  • Occasional Procrastinator…
  • Sometimes Aspiring Chef (Thank you Pinterest!)
  • Over-Thinker
  • Sitcom Watcher

I’m Jen. When I am not mothering and wifing, I try to indulge in the other (hobby) things on that list up there (I do not try to procrastinate. That comes entirely too naturally).  Most of the time I struggle to find a balance between taking care of my home and family and doing things that are fun for me. So, the obvious next step would be to add another “extracurricular” activity to my daily life. I digress.

The goal for this site is to help keep myself organized. LPCrochet is a business for me. Hopefully, eventually, a profitable one! If I can help other crocheters/crafters/SAHMs/anyone in any way, well bully for me! Some things you can expect to see here are crochet tutorials, interviews with fellow crafters, recipes, kid activities, DIY attempts, and probably many, MANY pictures of whatever I happen to be working on.

I hope you find something useful here. If not useful, I hope you find something at least mildly entertaining. To learn even MORE about me — check out My Very First Post.

  1. I found your article; “Hey, that’s Mine” when I was scanning related articles suggested by Zemanta. I liked it alot and am going to link it to my article soliciting UK followers to give information about the Copyright Laws in the UK. I am also going to ask if any other country has copyright laws they want to share. On your post I left and comment and a reply to the commenter above me.

Also, I am now following you. If you would stop by my blog, give it a read, perhaps decide to follow it, leave as message and/or like the blog and my Facebook page, raggz2baggz; it would be greatly appreciated!

I look forward to reading more of your posts.
